

June saw an upswing in completed-deal value, with the overall funding up 42 percent to $6.4 billion from $4.5 billion in May, preliminary Thomson Reuters data showed.
Meanwhile, deal count dropped 13 percent in June to 251 from 288 the month before.
The top deal of the month was ride-sharing network Uber Technologies Inc, which raised $3.5 billion.
Boston-based Ginkgo BioWorks was the largest healthcare deal in the month, having raised $100 million.
