Stealth startup Decide.com announced Tuesday it raised another $6 million in a series B round led by Maveron and supported by Madrona Ventures Group and several angel investors.
It also added to its string of all-star advisors and execs. Google founding board member and early investor Ram Shriram (pictured) joined the Seattle company as an investor and advisor, and former Expedia Chief Executive Erik Blachford threw money into the deal. As part of the latest round, former Farecast chief executive Hugh Cream joins the board.
Already, Rich Barton, co-founder of Zillow and a former Expedia exec, has put money into the company. And Oren Etzioni, a University of Washington computer science professor who helped create the technology behind Farecast is a co-founder.
The company says it hopes to bring new transparency to online consumer electronics shopping and is set to unveil its service in late spring. It has raised a total of $8.5 million.
