EQT Ventures, which raised €660 million for its second fund in 2019, announced three promotions and one hire across its European and US teams. In Europe, Ashley Lundström was promoted to partner, alongside Henrik Landgren, who is now Motherbrain partner. Motherbrain is the firm’s machine-learning platform to find and assess companies. In the US, Laura Yao (photo, right) was promoted to partner at EQT Ventures and Anne Raimondi (photo, left) has joined the firm as operating partner to work alongside Partner Alastair Mitchell in the San Francisco office.

Venture Capital Journal named Yao one of its 40 Rising Stars in January 2020.
