Wealthsimple unveils venture fund for retail investors

Toronto-based financial technology company Wealthsimple has launched a fund to provide retail investors with access to technology-focused venture capital firms, according to a blog post. In collaboration with Accolade Partners, Wealthsimple Venture Fund I will operate like a fund of funds, investing in firms like Andreessen Horowitz, Accel Partners and Kleiner Perkins. No financial terms were disclosed.
