French tech investor Partech raises €120m for fourth seed fund

Partech Entrepreneur IV's limited partners include financial institutions, multinational corporations, family offices and 100 entrepreneurs.

Paris-based venture firm Partech announced it has closed its fourth seed fund on its hard-cap of €120 million.

Partech is a tech-focused firm with a portfolio that includes 210 companies in 40 countries.

Partech Entrepreneur IV’s limited partners include financial institutions, multinational corporations, family offices and 100 entrepreneurs, of which 35 were previous Partech backers, the firm said.

Through the fund, the firm will back around 50 founding teams in Europe and across the globe, at pre-seed and seed stage. It will make initial investments between €300,000 and €3 million and typically reinvest until Series B.

“We are convinced that spotting the future leaders of new emerging categories often requires a broad scope, and a genuine open-mindedness towards what the most talented Founders come up with,” Partech general partner Romain Lavault said in a statement.

Among Partech’s past investments are health insurance start-up Alan and NFT fantasy sport gaming platform Sorare.
