San Mateo, California-based GreenRush, an online marketplace for legally purchasing cannabis, has secured $3.6 million in Series A funding. The investors included James Weil, president of JMM Industries and Chris Burggraeve, former global chief marketing officer at Anheuser-Busch InBev. In addition to the funding, Weil will join GreenRush’s board of directors while Burggraeve will join the company’s advisory board.
