Hospitality app Velocity racks up $22.5 mln Series B

London and New York-based hospitality mobile app Velocity has raised $22.5 million in Series B funding. DIG Investments led the round with participation from other backers that included Barry Sternlicht, founder of Starwood Hotels Group and concierge company John Paul. In addition to the funding, Velocity has named Amanda Terry as chief operating officer.
