Industry Ventures has named Amir Malayery as vice president. Previously, Malayery founded Dapper Shopping Inc. Also, the venture firm has promoted Ira Simkhovitch to vice president on its secondary team and Brian Langner to associate on its partnership holdings team.
January 11, 2016– SAN FRANCISCO, CA– Industry Ventures LLC, a leading investment firm for venture capital, today announced the appointment of Amir Malayery as Vice President. In his role with Industry Ventures, Malayery will be working with the secondary investment team.

Malayery most recently was the founder of Dapper Shopping, Inc., a mobile commerce startup focused on menswear. Prior to that, Malayery was a growth equity investor at Summit Partners, where he executed investments across the internet, media and technology sectors. He earned his MBA from Harvard Business School, along with an MA and a BA from Stanford University.
