Insurtech startup Layr fetches $5m

Atlanta-based Layr, an insurtech startup, has raised $5 million in financing. Sandbox Insurtech Ventures led the round with participation from Flyover Capital, Maschmeyer Group Ventures and Lloyd’s of London. In addition to the funding, Chris Zock, a managing director of Sandbox Insurtech Ventures and Keith Molzer, a general partner at Flyover Capital, will join Layr’s board of directors.
