Career Path: Jason Green is a general partner with U.S. Venture Partners (USVP), which he joined in 1997. Prior to USVP Jason completed a two-year program as a Ewing Marion Kauffman Fellow with Venrock Associates, the venture capital arm of the Rockefeller family. Before joining Venrock, Jason was awarded the Charles Williams Fellowship at Harvard’s Graduate School of Business for post-graduate research in Entrepreneurship and Finance. Earlier in his career, Jason served as a VP of Muzertechnika, the largest private computer and telecommunications company in Eastern Europe. There he negotiated a strategic joint venture and investment from IBM and helped establish one of the first regional telecommunication companies. Prior to this, he served as a consultant with Bain & Company in Boston and San Francisco, where he helped define and implement strategic initiatives for Fortune 500 companies. Jason also worked briefly with the investment firm of Welsh, Carson, Anderson and Stowe in New York.
Other Affiliations: Jason serves on the Board of Endeavor, a non-profit serving the needs of entrepreneurs in emerging markets.
