

Kevin Rose will join True Ventures as a venture partner, according to a blog he posted on Medium.
Rose, a co-founder of Digg and a former venture partner at GV, previously known as Google Ventures, said he will resettle in San Francisco from New York.
Rose had been in New York working on the startup Hodinkee, which operates an online magazine on wristwatches and which is backed by True Ventures.
As a venture capitalist, Rose has invested in Gowalla, Twitter, Foursquare, Dailybooth, NGMOCO, SimpleGeo, 3crowd, OMGPOP, Square, Facebook, Chomp and Formspring, according to his Wikipedia page.
in regards to joining True, Rose wrote he has known the partners for years and “I’ve always found the team to be deeply thoughtful, measured, and they’ve helped shape much of my thinking around company building, product design, and investing. It’s these strong core values and approach to supporting Founders that attracts me to True.”
