Intel Capital ranked as the most active U.S. investor in September, having taken part in a dozen deals, including ArcSoft, CarCloud and Mocana Corp., among otehrs.
Sequoia Capital ranked second with 10 deals, followed by Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers with nine.
Four firms were tied with eight deals each.
