MyShell garners $5.6m in INCE Capital-led seed funding

MyShell, a Calgary-based decentralized and integrated platform for discovering and creating artificial intelligence(AI)-native apps, has raised $5.6 million in seed financing.

INCE Capital led the round, with participation from Folius Ventures, Hashkey Capital, SevenX Ventures, TSVC and OP Crypto.

Since its inception in April, MyShell has attracted a community of more than 400,000 users and over 30,000 creators. The team behind the startup is composed of seasoned entrepreneurs and AI researchers from institutions such as MIT, Princeton and Oxford.

The funds raised will be mainly used to develop proprietary AI models, a creator studio for AI-native apps and establish a creator ecosystem on the blockchain.

Based in Shanghai, INCE Capital focuses on investing in early to expansion stage-companies in the internet consumer and intelligent technologies sectors.
