NEA promotes two to principal

Venture capital firm New Enterprise Associates has promoted Jess Ou and Tiffany Le to principal. Ou joined NEA’s technology team in 2018 and focuses on enterprise and consumer investments. Le, who joined the firm’s healthcare team in 2020, invests in life sciences, with a focus on medtech and healthtech.

Prior to joining NEA, Ou was a member of Morgan Stanley’s technology investment banking group and Le was part of the investment team at Kaiser Permanente Ventures.

Separately, NEA promoted Zak Burns, Henry Magun, Alex Sharata and Emily Zhen to senior associate.

NEA has raised nearly $24 billion since its founding in 1977. It invests in technology and healthcare companies from seed stage through IPO. More than 260 NEA portfolio companies have gone public and more than 440 have been involved in mergers or acquisitions.
