Popwallet, a mobile wallet marketing automation platform, has secured $4 million in funding. Stout Street Capital led the round with participation from other backers that included Loeb.nyc, 3Lines Venture Capital, IrishAngels, Cultivation Capital, MATH Venture Partners and Entrepreneurs Roundtable Accelerator.
Transitiv, an open platform to unify, understand and activate customer data, has secured $1.7 million in seed funding. Vocap Investment Partners led the round.
Silicon Valley-based Alpaca, a fintech startup, has secured $6 million in funding. The investors included Spark Capital and Social Leverage.
New York City-based Branch, a provider of office furniture, has secured $2.4 million in seed funding, according to a blog post on its site. Nine Four Ventures led the round with participation from other investors that included Alate Partners, RRE, Dolik Ventures and Rough Draft.
San Francisco and Israel-based 89Bio, a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company focused on nonalcoholic steatohepatitis and other liver and metabolic disorders, has raised about $84.9 million for its IPO after pricing its over 5.3 million shares at $16 per share. The stock began trading November 11, 2019 on the NASDAQ under the ticker symbol "ETNB." BofA Securities, SVB Leerink and RBC Capital Markets are the lead underwriters. 89Bio's pre-IPO backers include OrbiMed Israel, OrbiMed US, Longitude Capital, RA Capital Management and Pontifax.
Voi Technology, a Swedish e-scooter operator, has raised $85 million in funding. Vostok New Ventures led the round with participation from other investors that included Balderton Capital, Creandum, Project A, JME Ventures, Raine Ventures, Kreos Capital, Inbox Capital, Rider Global and Black Ice Capital.
London-based Hero Future Energies, a clean tech company, has secured $150 million in funding. The investor was Masdar. The capital will be used to back HFE's expansion of its renewable energy portfolio.
Pasadena, California-based GuRu Wireless Inc, a millimeter-wave technology company, has secured $15 million in Series A funding. The investors include Kairos Ventures and BOLD Capital Partners.
Workato, an enterprise automation platform, has secured $70 million in Series C funding. Redpoint Ventures led the round with participation from Norwest Venture Partners, Geodesic Capital, Battery Ventures and Storm Ventures.
Flavourworks, a games studio, has secured 3 million pounds in Series A funding. The investors included Hiro Capital and Sky Ventures.
