Boston-based Netra Inc, a provider of visual intelligence and search technology, announced it raised $1.85 million in seed-stage funding led by Launchpad Venture Group and NXT Ventures. Zelkova Ventures, Mark Cuban, Berwind Group and other prominent angel investors also participated in the round. The funding brings the total amount raised by Netra to $2.95 million. The company, which was a part of Techstars Boston 2015 class, focuses on all the photos and videos posted online to held identify consumer preferences and engagements. The technology was developed from research at MIT.
