OSV promotes Dowling to managing partner and Foote to partner

Both appointments were effective January 1, 2023.

Osage Venture Partners, a venture firm focused on B2B software companies, has promoted Sean Dowling to managing partner and Emily Foote to partner.

Both appointments were effective January 1, 2023.

Before their promotions, Dowling was a partner and Foote was a principal.

Dowling joined OVP in 2011. He serves as a board member of BoodleAI, BookKeeping Express, Brazen, Dina, Connectbase, ExecOnline, MarginEdge, Ostendio, and Returnalyze.
Before getting an MBA from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School, he was a strategy consultant at the Monitor Group in London and Boston.

Foote joined OVP in March 2020. She currently serves as a board member of TeachFX and Transeo, and is a board observer at DeepHow, DrayNow, Fount, Hued, Malbek, Ostendio, SoWork, and Trinsic. Prior to OVP, Foote served as vice president of corporate strategy and customer success at Instructure. She co-founded Practice in 2011 and guided the company from a video platform in the education market to a corporate learning solution.

Also, Foote practiced education law and was a Teach For America corps member and KIPP teacher. She has a law degree from Drexel University Kline School of Law.
