

Palantir, the data company founded by Peter Thiel, has gone public after listing its reference price at $7.25 per share, reported CNN.com. The company began trading September 30, 2020 on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol “PLTR.” The news outlet noted that Palantir is following in the footsteps of Spotify and Slack by going public through a direct listing. Palantir’s pre-IPO backers included Japanese insurance company Sompo Holdings Inc.
