QED Investors raises $1.05bn

The Alexandria-based venture firm has raised capital across two new funds.

QED Investors has raised a total of $1.05 billion across two funds, according to a recent press release. The seventh early-stage vehicle, QED Fund VII, has raised $550 million; and the new growth stage vehicle, QED Growth Fund, has raised $500 million in commitments.

Capital raised by the funds will be used to invest in fintech companies in the US, UK, Latin America and Southeast Asia.
