SE Ventures collects 300m euros for sophomore climate and industrial tech fund

Schneider Electric is backing Fund II.

Silicon Valley-based SE Ventures has raised 500 million euros for its second climate and industrial tech fund.

Schneider Electric is backing Fund II.

As a result of this fundraising, SE Ventures now has 1 billion euros of committed capital.
Fund II will start investing in January 2023.

“Together, SE Ventures and Schneider Electric are building a better future, investing in big, disruptive ideas that accelerate the world’s sustainability agenda while driving better business outcomes,” said Amit Chaturvedy, global head and managing partner of SE Ventures, in a statement.

Fund I invested in over 40 startups and seven venture funds alongside partnership engagement with over 200 startups.

SE Ventures is led by Chaturvedy and General Partners Grant Allen and Varun Jain.
