Sequoia Capital is raising as much as $12 billion between its global growth fund and other venture-capital and growth funds in the United States and China, according to a report by CNBC.
The largest is an $8 billion global growth fund that is targeted to close in the second quarter.
The minimum check to get in the fund is $250 million, the report said.
Sequoia plans to hold its annual LP meeting in Beijing in mid April, CNBC said.
