Shima Capital taps Stahl as CFO

San Francisco-based Shima Capital, a web3 venture capital firm, has named Brandon Stahl as chief financial officer.

  • He previously served as director of accounting at Pacific Life Insurance Company
  • Prior to this, Stahl was accounting manager for Canyon Partners Real Estate LLC

San Francisco-based Shima Capital, a web3 venture capital firm, has named Brandon Stahl as chief financial officer.

Also, Stacey Santos is joining Shima as its vice president of finance.

Stahl joined Shima in March 2023. He previously served as the director of accounting at Pacific Life Insurance Company. Prior to this, Stahl was the accounting manager for Canyon Partners Real Estate LLC. Stahl began his career as an auditor at PwC Los Angeles.

“We couldn’t be more thrilled to add Brandon and Stacey to our team,” said Yida Gao, who’s also managing general partner at Shima Capital, in a statement. “Their combined experience is incalculable, and they’ve made a positive difference at Shima since day one.”

Shima Capital was founded by Yida Gao in 2021.
