Monrovia, California-based SiLC Technologies, which makes high-performance optical components, has raised $17 million in Series A funding. The round was led by Alter Venture Partners and Dell Technologies Capital with participation from Fluxunit – OSRAM Ventures, Sony Innovation Fund by IGV, Epson, UMC Capital, Yamato Holdings and Global Brain. Following a $12 million seed round in 2020, the company has now raised more than $30 million in total financing.
The company was founded in 2018.
