TechBoise Founder Tac Anderson To Leave Idaho

A couple of weeks ago, I wrote about how Highway 12 Ventures in Boise, Idaho, joined the information superhighway and launched a blog on its website.

At the time, Highway 12 GP Mark Solon credited Entrepreneur-in-Residence Tac Anderson (shown in the picturesque photo) for pushing the firm to start blogging. Anderson has led social media activities at Hewlett-Packard, and he is the founder of TechBoise, a website devoted to tracking the tech life in the capital city of the Gem State.

But Anderson has announced he’s leaving Highway 12 and Boise to become Digital Consulting Director at Waggener Edstrom’s Studio D in Seattle, where he’ll work on digital content and social media projects for the PR firm. He begins his new gig on May 4. You can read more about his move from his post at TechBoise.

Anderson, however, may not be gone long. As he explains in his blog post, which brings to mind “A River Runs Through It” by Norman Maclean: “I have left Boise three times in my life. Three times I’ve come home. The Boise River and the dirt from the foothills run through my veins and if past performance is any indicator of future results then I’ll be back at some point.”
