Top Tier Capital Partners raises $925m in fresh capital

Fund of funds manager Top Tier Capital Partners has closed on $925 million in fresh capital total. Included in this figure is $503.5 million raised for the Top Tier Venture Velocity Fund 4, as well as $421 million from a collection of separate accounts, one of which focuses on late-stage climate tech co-investments.

The firm invests in venture funds and expansion-stage software and technology companies. Its total regulatory assets under management now total more than $8.1 billion.

TTCP’s managing directors are Jessica Archibald, Sean Engel, Eric Fitzgerald, Garth Timoll Sr. and David York.

TTCP’s portfolio holds more than 550 fund interests, including funds managed by Andreessen Horowitz, Mayfield Ventures and True Ventures. It also has direct and indirect exposure to more than 14,000 portfolio companies spanning biotechnology, SaaS software, and frontier technologies like web3.
