VC-backed AppsBuilder buys Paperlit

AppsBuilder, which is backed by United Ventures, has acquired Paperlit. No financial terms were disclosed. Paperlit is a provider of mobile app solutions for publishers.

London, 5th December 2014 – AppsBuilder has today announced the acquisition of Paperlit, a provider of multi-platform mobile app solutions for the world’s largest publishers. The move puts the app publishing platform in pole position as the provider of next generation app solutions for entry to enterprise level businesses. Bringing the editorial publishing vertical to the group’s product offering the purchase, for an undisclosed sum, strengthens AppsBuilder’s global presence adding a significant portfolio of the world’s leading publishing houses to its one million strong client base (www.apps-builder.com).

As part of the acquisition a new umbrella brand has been formed, AB engine, which unites the companies’ technical knowhow and app publishing expertise to form a mobile automation powerhouse that enables businesses of all sizes to go mobile without the need for coding skills.

In addition the newly launched AB connect, offers an enterprise level API solution for large-scale native app rollout, running on the same infrastructure that powers both AppsBuilder and Paperlit.
