VC-backed Juno Therapeutics rolls out IPO

Juno Therapeutics has debuted its IPO after pricing its over 11 million shares at $24 per share. The stock began trading Friday on the NASDAQ under the ticker symbol “JUNO.” Morgan Stanley, J.P. Morgan SecuritiesĀ and Goldman Sachs are theĀ lead underwriters. Based in Seattle, Juno is a biotech company focused on developing immunotherapies for cancer. Its backers include Bezos Expeditions, Venrock, ARCH Venture Partners and the Alaska Permanent Fund.

SEATTLE–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Dec. 18, 2014– Juno Therapeutics, Inc. today announced the pricing of its initial public offering of 11,022,917 shares of common stock at a price to the public of $24.00 per share. In addition, Juno Therapeutics has granted the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 1,653,437 shares of common stock to cover over-allotments, if any. Juno Therapeutics’ common stock is expected to begin trading on The NASDAQ Global Select Market under the symbol ā€œJUNOā€ on December 19, 2014. The offering is expected to close on December 23, 2014, subject to customary closing conditions.
