Cayman Islands-based Mobius Network announced it has closed its MOBI token sale and raised $35 million in its initial coin offering. The blockchain company said the pre-sale was oversubscribed by more than $10 million. Participants included its advisory board members and blockchain entrepreneurs Jed McCaleb, Chandler Guo and Jackson Palmer, as well as Nirvana Capital, a U.K.-based blockchain-focused hedge fund. Palo Alto, California-based Camp One Ventures, which makes early-stage investments in fintech companies, invested $500,000 in Mobius ahead of the company’s ICO, which began in November.
