Vermilion Ventures seeks $100m for inaugural fund

The firm, which lists its address in Lihue, Hawaii, has so far raised $8.6m, according to a regulatory filing.

Vermilion Ventures filed a regulatory document indicating it has raised $8.65 million toward a $100 million target for its debut fund. The firm, which lists its address as Lihue, Hawaii, has raised the funds from 57 investors, according to the regulatory filing.

The fund lists its sole general partner as Bob Wu, who appears to be the same Wu as the co-founder of the Teleport app and was previously a venture partner at Primary Venture Partners in New York.
