Astound locks in $11.5 mln Series A

Menlo Park, California-based Astound, an enterprise software company that applies machine learning and natural language processing to automate service and support, has raised $11.5 million in Series A funding. Vertex Ventures and Pelion Venture Partners led the round with participation from The Hive, Slack Fund and Moment Ventures.
