UK-based PrimaryBid, an online platform connecting publicly listed companies with everyday investors for discounted share issuances, has raised 7 million pounds in funding. Pentech and Outward VC led the round with participation from other investors that included Hambro Perks.

4BIO Capital has raised over $50 million for its second venture fund. 4BIO Ventures II is targeting $150 million by the second half of 2020. The fund's backers include family offices and institutional investors. 4BIO Capital focuses on the advanced therapies sector.

HackerOne, a bug bounty program, has secured $36.4 million in funding, according to a blog post on its site. The investor was Valor Equity Partners.

Volocopter, a German air taxi firm, has secured 50 million ($55 million) euros in funding, reported Reuters. Geely Holding led the round.

Group Nine Media, a video publisher on mobile in the U.S., has raised $50 million in funding. The backers were Discovery Inc and Axel Springer SE.

AppZen, an AI platform for modern finance teams, has secured $50 million in Series C funding. Coatue Management led the round.

The Dementia Discovery Fund, a venture fund that invests in projects and companies that develop treatments for age-related dementias, has named Dr. Christian Jung as a partner. Previously, he worked at Wellington Partners Life Sciences where he was a principal. SV Health Investors manages DDF.

Arlington, Virginia-based ChurnZero, a customer success platform, has named Abby Hammer as chief customer officer, Hunter Montgomery as chief marketing officer and Jason Moore as vice president of sales. ChurnZero's backers included Baird Capital, Grotech Ventures and Middleland Capital.

Kenmei Technologies, a Spanish specialized company working on mobile network intelligence and automation, has raised 1 million euros in seed funding. The investors were GoHub Ventures, the investment vehicle of Global Omnium and R2 Seed Investments.

China-based IceKredit, a credit evaluation institution for small and micro big data-focused businesses, has raised $47 million in funding. The investors include Frees Fund, Yunqi Partners, China Creation Ventures and Youzu Interactive.
