Los Angeles and Amsterdam-based DEARhealth, an AI health tech startup, has raised $6.8 million in funding. The investors were Philips Health Technology Ventures, Vesalius Biocapital III and Health Innovations.

San Francisco-based Berbix, a provider of hosted user verifications for online platforms, has secured $2.5 million in seed funding, according to a Medium blog post. The investors were Y Combinator, Initialized Capital, Fika Ventures, Dream Machine and Liquid 2 Ventures.
Cambridge, Massachusetts-based Orum Therapeutics, a biotech firm, has secured $30 million in Series B financing. The investors were IMM Investment, Smilegate Investment, KTB Network, Stassets Investment, InterVest and KB Investment/Solidus Investment.
New York-based AlphaSense Inc, a provider of an AI-based search engine for market intelligence, has secured $50 million in Series B funding. Innovation Endeavors led the round.
San Diego-based Cradle Genomics, a provider of a prenatal testing methodology, has secured $17.1 million in funding. Illumina Ventures and Section 32 led the round with participation from Alexandria Real Estate Equities, Sea Lane Ventures, Listwin Ventures and Axon Ventures.
London-based ContractPodAi, a provider of AI-powered contract lifecycle management software, has secured $55 million in Series B funding. Insight Partners led the round.
