German seed-stage investor High-Tech Gründerfonds has closed its third fund at 316.5 million euros, beating its target of 310 million euros. The fund's investors include Germany's Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy and the KfW. HTGF III invests in in tech startups.
Florida-based Plum, a producer of an appliance that automatically preserves, chills and serves wine by the glass, has raised $10 million in Series B financing. Las Olas Venture Capital led the round.
Emogi, a content engine for communication services, has secured $12.6 million in Series A funding. The investors were not named.
Vancouver, Washington-based AbSci, a provider of biomanufacturing technologies, has closed $12 million in Series C financing. Asahi Glass Co. In conjunction with the funding, Dr. Gustavo Mahler, president and CEO of AGC Biologics, will join AbSci's board of directors.
Madison, Wisconsin-based Propeller Health, a digital therapeutics company, has raised $20 million in funding. Aptar Pharma led the round with participation from return backers Safeguard Scientifics, Social Capital, Hikma, 3M Ventures and SR One.
New York City and Tel Aviv-based SQream, a developer of a GPU database, has raised $26.4 million in Series B funding. Alibaba Group led the round with participation from investors that included Hanaco Venture Capital, Sistema.vc, World Trade Ventures, Paradiso Ventures, Glory Ventures and Silvertech Ventures.
CleanSlate, a provider of outpatient addiction medicine, has secured $25 million in financing. HealthQuest Capital led the round.
Tradeshift, a provider of supply chain payments and marketplaces, has raised $250 million in Series E funding. Goldman Sachs and Public Sector Pension Investment Board led the round.
Ava, a maker of a fertility tracking sensor bracelet, has raised $30 million in Series B funding. The investors included SVC and btov Partners.
SonderMind Inc, a digital network of therapists, has secured $2.5 million in funding. Kickstart Seed Fund led the round with participation from Purple Arch Ventures, SpringTime Ventures, Service Provider Capital and Lanoha Ventures.
