San Jose, California-based Sequentum Inc, a web data extraction and web automation software development company, has secured an undisclosed amount of funding. The investor was WorldQuant Ventures.

San Francisco-based Affirm Inc, a financial services firm, has raised $200 million in Series E funding, according to a source familiar with the transaction. GIC led the round with participation from other investors that included Khosla Ventures, Lightspeed Venture Partners, Founders Fund, Spark Capital, Caffeinated Capital and Ribbit Capital.

ConversionPoint Technologies Inc has acquired Emeryville, California-based Sellpoints Inc, an ecommerce tech provider. No financial terms were disclosed. Sellpoints' backers included Menlo Ventures, Granite Ventures and IBM.

BOLD Capital Partners is seeking to raise $200 million for its second fund, according to an SEC filing. The Santa, Monica-based early-stage venture firm invests in "exponential transformation."

EnCap Investments has committed $300 million to Fort Worth, Texas-based Pegasus Resources LLC, a mineral and royalty company. Kelly Hart & Hallman LLP provided legal advice to Pegasus while Thompson & Knight LLP did likewise for EnCap.

Cambridge, Massachusetts-based Clora, a medical tech startup, has raised $3.3 million in seed funding, according to a source familiar with the transaction. Spark Capital led the round with participation from other investors that included Social Capital, Ludlow Ventures, Notation Capital, iSeed Ventures, v1 VC and KohFounders.

UK-based Senseye Limited, a provider of predictive maintenance software, has secured 3.5 million pounds in Series A funding. MMC Ventures led the round with participation from return backers Breed Reply, IQ Capital and Momenta Partners.

Palo Alto, California-based Menlo Security, a provider of malware isolation, has raised $40 million in Series C funding, The investors included American Express Ventures, Ericsson Ventures, HSBC, JPMorgan Chase, General Catalyst, Sutter Hill Ventures, Osage University Partners and Engineering Capital.

SymphonyCare, a population health and patient engagement solutions company, has acquired the Birmingham, Alabama-based Influence Health's Empower patient portal business unit. No financial terms were disclosed. SymphonyAlpha Ventures, the venture capital arm of Symphony Corporation, a provider of digital healthcare innovation and technology solutions, led the deal.

Singapore-based EcoWorth Tech, a clean tech startup, has raised S$1 million in seed funding. The backers were Budding Innovations and FundedHere.
