Greenlight Planet Inc, a solar home energy company, has raised $60 million in funding. Apis Partners led the round with participation from Eight Roads Ventures and Bamboo Capital Partners.
Belgium-based NGDATA, a provider of customer experience management solutions, has raised over $19 million in Series C funding. HPE Growth Capital led the round with participation from other investors that included Idinvest Partners, Pamica, SmartFin Capital, Capricorn Venture Partners and Nausicaa Ventures.
Spartanburg, South Carolina-based Integrated Biometrics, a maker of FBI-certified fingerprint sensors, has raised $2 million in funding. The investors were not named.
Continuum Security, a Spain-based cybersecurity company, has secured 1.5 million euros in funding. Swanlaab Venture Factory led the round with participation from JME Venture Capital and Sonae IM.
Santa Monica, California-based Earny, a personal finance service, has raised $9 million in Series A funding. Mayfield led the round with participation from Comcast Ventures and Science Inc.
Qvella, a Canadian molecular diagnostics company, has secured $20 million in Series B financing. The investors included RA Capital, Whitecap Venture Partners, Hatteras Ventures, Sands Capital and bioMérieux.
Miami-based Powerful, a food and beverage company, has raised $4 million from two separate funding rounds. The investors included Cambridge Companies SPG, River Hallow Partners and Gerber Finance.
Noodle Partners Inc, which helps colleges and universities expand access to and decrease the cost of online higher education, has raised about $14 million in Series A funding. Owl Ventures led the round.
Arlington, Virginia-based NS8, an ecommerce fraud prevention solutions provider, has raised $7.5 million in funding. Arbor Ventures led the round with participation from return investors TDF Ventures and Hanna Ventures.
ChemomAb, an Israeli bio-pharmaceutical start-up, has closed $10 million in funding. OrbiMed Israel and Peter Thiel led the round with participation from SBI Japan-Israel Innovation Fund and Milestone Venture.
