Los Angeles-based Mira, a mobile augmented reality company, has secured $1 million in funding. Greylock Partners, Founders Fund Angel and Macro Ventures led the round.
New York City and San Francisco-based Citizen, a crime tracker app, has raised $12 million in Series A funding, according to TechCrunch. Sequoia Capital led the round, said the tech news site.
ClearMetal, a predictive logistics company, has secured $9 million in Series A funding. Prelude Ventures and Innovation Endeavors led the round with participation from other investors that included New Enterprise Associates.

Lafayette, Colorado-based Front Range Biosciences, an agricultural biotech company, has raised $3 million in funding. The investors included Phyto Partners, Salveo Capital, Sand Hill Angels, HBS Angels of NYC, NY Angels, Halley Venture Partners, Anthill Ventures and Canopy Boulder.
San Francisco-based Webgility, a provider of ecommerce automation software for small and medium businesses, has raised $6.4 million in Series A funding. Pilot Growth Equity led the round.
California-based System1, a developer of a pre-targeting platform for identifying and unlocking consumer intent, has closed $270 million in financing. Court Square Capital Partners led the round.
Gogoro, an energy company, has closed $300 million in Series C funding. The investors included Temasek, Generation Investment Management, Sumitomo Corporation and ENGIE.
Next Coast Ventures has named Paul Rogers and Jim Dunham as technology venture partners and Adam Salamon as its first entrepreneur-in-residence. Currently, Rogers is the chief technology officer of Namely Inc while Dunham is the former president of cloud and business intelligence at ServiceSource. And, Salamon was the founder and chief operating officer of Perk Inc.
