Miami-based iContainers, a digital freight services platform, has raised $6.7 million in funding. Serena Capital led the round with participation from return backers Kibo Ventures and Vitamina K. In conjunction with the funding, Anne-Valèrie Bach, a partner at Serena Capital, has been added to iContainers' board of directors.
Instana, a San Mateo, California-based platform that monitors and manages complex big data and microservices, has raised $6 million in funding. Target Partners led the round with participation from German IT consulting company Codecentric.
Silicon Valley-based digital health startup Jiff Inc has secured $17.7 million in funding. The investors in this round were not identified.
Providence, Rhode Island-based furniture brand Greycork has secured $1 million in funding. The investors included ff Venture Capital.
Upper Hand Inc, an Indiana-based provider of sports management software, has closed its recent venture funding round, bringing its total tally to $1.34 million. The backers included Larry Sablosky, a co-founder of Finish Line and Steve Schneider, Finish Line's former president and chief operating officer. According to the company, the financing will be used to expand Upper Hand's software features and for employee growth.
San Francisco-based CrowdFlower, a platform for data science teams, has raised $10 million in funding. Canvas Ventures, Trinity Ventures and Microsoft led the round.
Helpshift, a customer support platform, has raised $23 million in Series B funding. The investors included Microsoft Ventures, Salesforce Ventures, Intel Capital, Nexus Venture Partners, True Ventures and Visionnaire Ventures. The current capital infusion brings Helpshift's total funding tally to $36.2 million.
Chicago-based marketing technology company Signal has secured $30 million in Series E funding. I2A led the round with participation from other backers that included Pritzker Group Ventures, Baird Capital, EPIC Ventures and Silicon Valley Bank.
Financial management tool Cloudability has raised $24 million in Series B funding, the company announced in a blog post on its site. Foundry led the round. The latest capital infusion brings Cloudability's overall funding tally to over $40 million.  
Milpitas, California-based Applied StemCell Inc, a gene-editing company, has raised $19 million in Series D funding. HerMed Capital led the round with participation from other investors that included Ping An Ventures, Vi-Ventures and BioSciKin.
