RocketBody said Sept. 5 that it raised $1 million in funding from Gagarin Capital Partners and AltaIR Capital. RocketBody is an ECG-based personal fitness trainer for Apple Watch.
PolyPid Ltd said Sept. 4 that it raised $50 million in a Series E-1 round led by existing institutional shareholders and including US-based high-net worth investors. National Securities Corp acted as the placement agent for the financing. PolyPid is a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company focused on developing and commercializing novel, locally administered therapies.
Elliptic said Sept. 4 that it raised $23 million in a Series B round led by SBI Group. AlbionVC participated in the round along with existing investors including SignalFire, Octopus Ventures, and Santander Innoventures. Elliptic provides of crypto-asset risk management solutions for crypto businesses and financial institutions.
VillageMD said Sept. 4 that it raised $100 million in a Series B funding round. Kinnevik AB, which led the round, invested $75 million. Returning investor Oak HC/FT along with new investors Town Hall Ventures and Adams Street Partners participated. VillageMD provides primary care for organizations moving toward a primary care-led, clinical model.
OpenGov said Sept. 3 that it raised $51 million in Series D funding lead by Weatherford Captial and 8VC. Existing investor Andreessen Horowitz participated in the round. OpenGov provides cloud solutions for budgeting, performance, communications and reporting.
BBOXX said Aug. 28 that it raised $50 million in a Series D funding round. Investors include Mitsubishi Corp, ENGIE Rassembleurs d’Energies, Bamboo Capital Partners, DOEN Participaties and MacKinnon, Bennett & Co. BBOXX, of London, is a next generation utility.
Buoy Health said Thursday that it raised a $15 million Series B round led by Bill Hambrecht. Buoy, of Boston, is a health platform that uses AI to provide clinical support to users when they have a healthcare concern.
Renovacor said Aug. 14 that it raised $11 million in a Series A co-led by Novartis Venture Fund, Broadview Ventures, and BioAdvance, and joined by New Leaf Venture Partners and Innogest Capital. Renovacor is a preclinical-stage biopharmaceutical company focused on developing gene therapy-based treatments for cardiovascular disease.
Cue Holdings Ltd said Aug. 13 that it completed a Series A round led by Anchor Equity Partners. Princeville Global participated in the financing which included founding investor KKR. Cue, of Shanghai, provides data-driven marketing insights and growth solutions to enterprises.
Mediacast Holdings said Aug. 9 that raised a second round of capital. Financial terms weren’t announced. Investors include senior executives from large media companies, private equity pioneers and fund managers. Mediacast Holdings, of Denver, owns equity in and manages a portfolio of consumer facing businesses.
