San Francisco-based Piva Capital, an investor in energy and industry companies, announced that Mark Gudiksen has joined as the firm’s second managing partner and Roxanne Tully has joined as an investor.


Gudiksen was most recently a co-founder and partner of Circularis Partners. Piva said that Gudiksen will help raise funds, help identify new founding teams to invest in, work with portfolio companies, and fuel Piva’s ongoing expansion. He has spent a good portion of his career investing in technology companies looking for ways to solve the climate-related issues created by the gap between a growing population and a finite amount of resources.


Before joining Piva, Tully spent four years with BioLite,a nd she worked as an R&D engineer for The Clorox Company. Piva said she will focus on identifying and supporting entrepreneurs.
