Underscore.VC leads funding of Zaius

Boston-based Zaius, a provider of a brand engagement marketing platform, announced it has raised $8 million in funding. The round was led by newly launched Boston venture firm Underscore.VC and includes Leaders Fund and previous investor Matrix Partners. The company, founded in 2012, previously raised a $6.3 million round in 2014. Leading the investment at their respective firms are brothers Michael Skok of Underscore and David Skok of Matrix Partners, both of whom sit on the board.
