Nok Nok Labs, which develops authentication technology for the cloud, came out of stealth today and launched its product and services. The venture-backed company was founded by CEO Phillip Dunkelberger, who previously launched encryption company PGP Corp. He founded Nok Nok in 2011 and raised a $15 million Series A round that same year from ONSET Ventures and DCM.
Palo Alto, Calif.-based StartX, which runs a startup accelerator program for students of Stanford University, announced today it raised $400,000 from Cisco, Founders Fund, AT&T, Groupon and Founder.org. The funding amount also includes a $100,000 grant from the Blackstone Charitable Foundation.

42Floors announced in a blog post this morning that it has raised a $12.3 million Series B round of funding that was led by New Enterprise Associates and includes Bessemer Venture Partners and Thrive Capital, two of the company's Series A investors, and new investor Columbus Nova Technology Partners.
MobileSpan has raised $2.3 million in a Series A round of funding led by True Ventures, with participation from Greylock Partners, K9 Ventures, Alchemist Accelerator and several individual investors. The company, which helps users plug their personal laptops and mobile devices into their corporate enterprise systems, says the round was oversubscribed.
Online education company Lynda.com has raised its first round of funding, securing $103 million in growth equity from Accel Partners, Spectrum Equity and Meritech Capital Partners. As part of the funding, Andrew Braccia of Accel and Vic Parker of Spectrum, have joined the board.
Utah-based Health Catalyst announced it has raised a $33 million Series B round, led by Norwest Venture Partners and including Sequoia Capital and Sorenson Capital.
