Dutch design startup Framer has secured $7.7 million in Series A funding. Accel led the round with participation from Foundation Capital, Designer Fund and AngelList.
Santa Monica, California-based Happy Returns, a technology, logistics and service provider for online retailers, has secured $8 million in Series B funding. U.S. Venture Partners led the round with participation from previous backers Upfront Ventures and Trunk Club founder Brian Spaly. In addition to the funding, USVP General Partner Rick Lewis will join Happy Returns' board of directors.
San Diego-based Zety.io, a web content management systems startup, has raised $1.5 million in funding. The lead investor was ClearVision Equity Partners.
Cambridge, Massachusetts-based Asimov, a genetic circuits startup, has raised $4.7 million in seed funding. Andreessen Horowitz led the round with participation from Data Collective, Pillar and AME Cloud Ventures.
Silicon Valley-based Carbon, a digital 3D manufacturing company, has raised $200 million in Series D funding. The investors included Baillie Gifford, Fidelity Management & Research Company, Hydra Ventures, GE Ventures, Sequoia Capital, Silver Lake Kraftwerk and Reinet Investments.
Arlington, Virginia-based ChurnZero, which helps subscription businesses fight customer churn, has named William R. Wagner to its board of directors. Wagner is the president and CEO of LogMein. ChurnZero is backed by Grotech Ventures and Middleland Capital.
Irish biotech company Nuritas has raised $20 million in Series A funding. Cultivian Sandbox Ventures led the round.
Israel-based Anodot, a provider of real-time business incident detection solutions, has raised $15 million in funding. Redline Capital Management led the round with participation from Aleph Venture Capital and Disruptive Technologies Venture Capital.
UK-based Fiit, a social workout app, has raised 2.4 million pounds in seed funding. Connect Ventures led the round with participation from JamJar Investors, Rooks Nest Ventures and Westminster Capital.
San Diego-based Luna DNA, a blockchain-powered genomic platform, has secured $2 million in seed funding. The investors included Illumina.
